DR RAMI YOUNAN MD, FRCS
Dr. Rami Younan is a graduate of Laval and McGill universities. For nearly three years, he continued his postgraduate studies in surgical oncology at McGill University, the National Cancer Institute (NCI) in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and the NCI in Milan, Italy. He graduated from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in general surgery and general surgery in oncology. Dr. Younan focuses on breast cancer, cutaneous melanoma as well as gastrointestinal surgery, oncology, peritoneal carcinomatosis and hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC).
DR MATTE POLJICAK MD
Dr. Poljicak is a graduate of the University of Zagreb, Croatia. He studied general surgery in Switzerland and Montreal, CHUM. He realized his fellowship in surgical oncology at the Institut Curie in Paris and the Institut Gustave Roussy.
He works as a surgical oncologist at the CHUM since 1982. He is dedicated to the diagnosis and surgical treatment of breast disease. He participated in the studies of the National Surgical Adjuvant Breast and Bowel Project (NSABP) and the National Cancer Institute of Canada (NCIC). He teaches surgical oncology at CHUM pre-and post-graduate students.
Dr. Poljicak is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC), the College of Physicians of Quebec, the Quebec Association of Surgeons and the American Society of Breast Surgeons (ASBS).
DRE ERICA PATOCSKAI, MD.
Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University, Dr. Patocskai completed her general surgery residency at the University of Montreal. She then embarked on a specialization of sarcoma and melanoma, Royal Marsden in England. She works as a surgeon at the CHUM oncologist since 2001 and devotes her practice to the treatment of soft tissue sarcomas and general surgical oncology. She has a special interest in Oncoplastic in the treatment of breast cancer.
Dr. Patocskai is actively involved in studies of the National Surgical Adjuvant Breast and Bowel Project (NSABP) and teaches surgical oncology at undergraduate and post-graduate level.
Dr Erica Patocskai is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC), the College of Physicians of Quebec, the Quebec Association of Surgeons and the American Society of Breast Surgeons (ASBS).
DRE HERAWATY SEBAJANG, MD
Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Montreal, Dr. Sebajang conducted postdoctoral studies at the Centre for Minimal Access Surgery, McMaster University, Ontario. She is interested in teaching minimally invasive techniques and especially laparoscopic digestive surgery.
Dr Herawaty Sebajang is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC), the College of Physicians of Quebec, the Quebec Association of Surgery.
DRE CHRISTINA BERNIER MD
Dr. Christina Bernier received her medical degree at Laval University’s Faculty of Medicine. She completed 5 years of training in plastic surgery at University of Montreal and then did two years of specialized training in microsurgery-reconstruction and in reconstructive and aesthetic breast surgery.
Dr. Christina Bernier is a member of the Collège des Médecins du Québec, L’association des Spécialistes en Chirurgie Plastique et Esthétique du Québec, Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons and is part of the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Centre Hôspitalier Université de Montréal (CHUM). She specializes in breast reconstruction and microsurgery as well as cosmetic surgery. Being a woman she understands particularly well the needs and expectations of her patients. She has a young, dynamic and feminine approach to plastic surgery. Her experience and her passion for plastic surgery make Christina Bernier a high caliber plastic surgeon.
DR DENIS OKAN, MD
Dr. Denis Okan is a practitioner from the Toronto area. Ambitious young man, he achieved his first degree in Health Sciences at McMaster University and then moved to Newfoundland to study medicine at Memorial University. He then moved to the new adopted province of Quebec, where he completed a residency in family medicine and a perinatal subspecialty at McGill University. He fell in love with “La belle province” and decided to settle there. He currently works in the delivery room of the Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital and his primary role as a family doctor allows him to join the team at the Clinic Agatha.
DR SANDRA DAVAR, MD
Dr. Sandra Davar is a certified member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and of the Québec Association of Dermatalogists. After she obtained her medical diploma from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Montreal, she completed her studies with a Fellowship in ethics, intellectual property end medical liability at the Osgoode Hall Faculty of Law, in Toronto.
Dr Sandra Davar is affiliated with the CHUM (Centre Hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal) where she practices and teaches dermatolgy. She has a keen interest for the treatement and prevention of the various medical conditions her clients may be afflicted with in Dermatology.
DR. AMINA BOUGRINE
Dr. Amina Bougrine graduated from McGill University’s faculty of medicine in 2009, and completed her dermatology specialty training at Université de Montréal in 2014. Dr. Bougrine offers consultations in general dermatology, pediatric dermatology, and minor surgical procedures. She works in close collaboration with the oncological surgery team at Clinique Agatha in the surveillance, diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer.
Dr. Bougrine is a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC), the Canadian Dermatology Association (CDA), the Association des Dermatologistes du Québec (ADQ), and of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD).
